El Ubérrimo, Nariño
Coffee farmer Francy Liceth Castillo grows this wonderful coffee, Ubérrimo means "the most fertile field". The name was chosen because of the abundant harvest – from the farm that Francy runs together with her parents and five sisters. This Coffee Hero of the rare Geisha variety has been washed fermented. The coffee farm is located in the west of the country in the Nariño region in the Andes. Incidentally, production on Francy's farm focuses on using as few agricultural chemicals as possible in order to preserve the natural microbial life in the soil and thus promote healthy and resilient coffee plants. Francy has been working with geisha plants since 2017.
Sao Manoel Farm
Sao Manoel is a farm coffee from the Cerrado Mineiro region in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil. The local coffee farms are organized in cooperatives under the control of the Cerrado Coffee Growers Federation. The family-run farm is located at an altitude of about 1200 meters. Coffees from Cerrado Mineiro are marked with a special seal to highlight the high quality standards in growing and harvesting the coffees within the region. Each coffee bag is also marked with QR codes that allow direct traceability back to the farm. An exemplary measure of transparency in Brazil, the world's largest country for coffee cultivation.

Milk Coffee
This specially created espresso blend consists of two specialty coffees, from El Ubérrimo Farm in Colombia and from Sao Manoel Farm in the Cerrado Mineiro region of Brazil. Especially when milk or milk alternatives (e.g. oat or pea milk) are added, a sweetness develops that is reminiscent of heavenly chocolate cake, cherry jam and plums. Our Milk Coffee is therefore also the perfect espresso for a cappuccino or flat white.

Sustainable cultivation and quality awareness
Similar to wine, the origin, cultivation and careful harvesting form the basis of a coffee specialty. For our coffees, we use only ripe and hand-picked 100% Arabica coffee beans, because the elaborate harvest by hand is an essential quality criterion. Our highland coffees are natural products and are grown in shady forest gardens in a nature-friendly way. This preserves the biodiversity in the growing area. At cool altitudes with nutrient-rich and fertile soil conditions, the coffee cherries can ripen slowly. Under these optimal climatic conditions near the equator, the coffee plants have more time to develop their characteristic and fruity aromas.
Freshly roasted by hand
All Röststätte coffees are gently roasted by hand in Berlin so that the natural flavors can fully develop without unwanted acids. For a pronounced body and a versatile flavor profile in the cup, we want to emphasize and optimally process the special features of the respective variety, farm and origin of the coffee with our roasting. The aim is to exploit the full potential of the green coffee through our roasting process in order to highlight the valuable work of the producers in the growing countries. These are our quality principles - from source to the final cup.
