VARIA VS3
Looking for precision and minimalism for your coffee corner? The new Varia VS3 (2nd generation) combines both. The electric espresso and filter coffee grinder is revolutionizing the market - it grinds quietly, accurately and consistently with a 48 mm stainless steel cone grinder. And it offers plenty of power. This is thanks to the new motor design with stainless steel gears. It grinds at a speed of 170 rpm (revolutions per minute). And it does so without wobbling - because hard chamber premium springs dampen vibrations and increase consistency. The grinder fully convinced our team in an extensive test. The silicone feet on the base of the appliance ensure stability. The dosing cup stands magnetically on the base.
Zero-retention focus
The innovative grinder from Varia impresses with its antistatic design: your coffee only comes into contact with metal from start to finish - from the funnel to the dosing cup - and remains free of static charge. With an acute angle of 76.5 degrees, it also enables ideal zero-retention conditions. This means that no coffee remains in the grinder when grinding your different types of coffee. With a retention of less than 0.1 over a 10 g dose, no cleaning is required.
Stepless grind adjustment for more precision
The grind is infinitely adjustable, so you can easily adapt the grind to your preferences. The hopper (30g capacity) can easily be turned in the desired direction. Basically, the Varia VS3 can grind practically endless particle sizes - so you can experiment with your brews without restrictions. Whether you want to grind the grinder for mocha, espresso, filter coffee, cold brew or any other coarser or finer preparation, you will find the perfect setting in no time at all. One complete turn of the dial changes the setting by 10 microns (0.01 mm). So if you value precise and even particle distribution, the Varia VS3 is just right for you.
For coffee lovers and astronauts
A particular highlight is the housing, which not only impresses with its minimalist look. It is made of die-cast aluminium alloy in space-age quality. All important components are CNC-machined (computerised numerical control). This means that the VS3 offers total precision and stability during adjustment and grinding.
